Introducing fonolo!

logo small

Yesterday at the EComm show I had the pleasure of introducing the world to our new product, fonolo. Press release here. Some early blog response from Stowe Boyd here and Andy Abramson (who is handling our PR) here. You can hear me talking about it on Squawk Box here. And, most importantly, you can sign up for our private beta here.

Many thanks to our hard working developers for pulling out all the stops to make this happen!

    Congratulations,

I am looking forward to getting a beta invite (applied).

I described a very similar idea a while ago at http://blog.outerthoughts.com/2007/01/calling-for-support-calling-for-trouble-the-business-idea/

It is good to know somebody else sees the world’s problems the same way and actually has time and expertise to build a solution for it.

    Whew …

I’m glad we’re finally out of stealth mode. It’s been tough to keep a lid on things.

For those that missed eComm, Shai’s presentation was really inspiring- we’re working to solve problems with the phone that people really hate and the response from the crowd was excellent.

This is just the beginning … there’s a lot more to this story that we’ll be telling in the coming months :D

Sounds a great idea. This may be a simple question, but can you give some indication of the business model on this offering? People with great ideas deserve to make money, but if it is helpful if there is some degree of transparency about it!

Fascinating concept that deals with a growing problem with customer service today. I sincerely hope it all works out because I will surely benefit from it. Best of luck!!

    Thanks everyone for the comments.

Paul: Browsing the phone map, Deep Dialing and Intelligent Call History are free and ad supported. Later on, we’ll add some premium features that require a monthly fee. We also have some interesting partnership plans in the works, but I can’t disclose any details here. Stay tuned!
